The merger of United and Continental Airlines

I read an article about United and Continental Airlines is losing lots of money before the merge. But now they are planning to earn lots of money after they close the merger deal with Continental airlines. The deal with the two airlines will start in September of 2010 and close at the end of this year they hope. They are letting travelers including business and vacationers to buy the tickets on time and at the last minute too. The concern is that lots of workers from both companies will lose lots jobs from the merge. I hope the airlines merger will be successful by the end of this year. I think it is a great idea for the two airlines to merge with each other. I hope the airlines will earn lots of money than before. The new airline name is called United, but they will still use continental airlines logo before the merge is passed. I am happy that the decision is being made finally. It took them a long time to do the merge with Continental Airlines. Let's see what happens at the end of this year. Let's keep our fingers crossed if the merger is complete.
